Bergh White Opticians is an independent, family-owned retail optical store that has been a part of the Springfield community since 1964. Our mission is to provide patients with quality vision solutions to enhance your visual experience. Sue White joined Mr. Bergh in January of 1969. Sue and Kenneth White purchased the corporation from Norman Bergh on January 4, 1989. Sue White is an Honored Fellow of the American Board of Certified Opticians. In 2010, their daughter K. Elizabeth Bouravnev joined the business as a reading specialist. With the passing of Kenneth White in 2019, Elizabeth now runs the daily business activities along side Sue. Springfield has been their home for over sixty years. They remains active in the community through local church and schools. They enjoy supporting the local arts and event. The staff at Bergh White Opticians is grateful to the community of Springfield for its support. Springfield isn't just our place of business; Springfield is our home. Dr. Amanda Gerson join the Bergh White team, in 2021. In 2025, Bergh White took on a major renovation to enhance their space to better serve their customers, and to continue to offer the same great service with a fresh new look.
